Somehow, making an arrangement helps me feel ownership over music. I take apart all the little pieces, examine them closely, and then figure out how to put them back together again.

For me, arranging is a natural extension of love for the music. I become obsessed with something, and I want to know how to create it myself (which is where The Pan-Tones swoop in and make my dreams come true!). Obviously, I’ve arranged it for our group as well for our upcoming show at Steve’s on July 15.
