Last week, I got to meet some new friends, Julia Richter (flute) and Leslie Goldman (soprano). I was also reunited with Eric Schank, my first ever pianist I played with throughout high school. Rehearsal was so fun, and sounded awesome!

I’m playing a recital on Sun, Aug 6 at 6PM at Orvis auditorium. It’s the same program I performed a couple weeks ago in Denton, with the addition of Schubert’s Der Hirt auf Dem Felsen.

I also got to play with the Hawaii Flute Society flute choir last weekend, and have been to the beach everyday since our arrival.

So far, it’s been a great trip!

The plan for this week is meeting more friends, more rehearsals, and more beach 🙂
