UPDATE: My Patreon has been taken down, and all premium content will be hosted here on my website. If you would like to support my artistic journey, please join my inner circle.

I made a Patreon page in 2020 (pandemic days), when I started most of my online activities. I phased it out after several months, but it’s back!
The idea for my relaunched Patreon page is to share more about my process, thoughts, and inspirations, which include a lot of things that aren’t necessarily related to being a flute player. It’s more about living an artistic life- cultivating a point of view, being curious, and creating.
Even though I know people can opt in and out of social media, I feel like I can connect differently with people who I know are genuinely interested in supporting me as a musician, artist, and fellow human being. The dynamic changes for me when I don’t feel like I’m in a place where I have to something to prove. For better or worse, I guess that’s the performer instinct in me.
For now, there is only one tier, at $10/month. If you are unfamiliar with Patreon, it is a platform that allows creators to share exclusive content with their “patrons” for a monthly subscription fee.
As far as exactly what will be on the page- I’m leaving it open ended. There are a lot of times I think about sharing something on social media, but it feels a little off topic for a flute player. My social media pages feel like professional spaces, so I mostly stick to flute and music.
Of course, the way music sounds through me is a distillation of my greater life experiences and creative influences. I suppose the word for that is context. Artistic context.
